Grandmaster Gou Chen Tai Chi Fan Workshop
Grandmaster Kongjie Gou, 11th Generation lineage holder of Chen style Tai Chi, is returning to Bournemouth this November to teach his Chen Style Tai Chi Fan form.
Join us to learn from one of the most well known and respected teachers of Chen style Tai Chi in the world. Grandmaster Gou will be teaching both a simple and complicated version of the form so all are welcome!
The workshop is over two days: Saturday 3rd Nov 4-7pm and Sunday 4th Nov 2-6pm.

NEW classes at Bournemouth University!
Natural Elements are now running two NEW classes at Bournemouth University. Tai Chi beginners and Adult Shaolin Kung Fu!
- Tai Chi: Mondays 20:30 - 21:25
- Kung Fu: Thursdays 20:30 - 21:25
Taster sessions are available the week of 1st October at the same time the classes will run, and cost only £2! If you are interested in these sessions or know someone who might be, then please book ASAP because spaces go quickly. Also, note that the sessions are for everybody, not just students and staff at Bournemouth University!
The cost for each course is £40 for 9 week term. The sessions are bookable via Sport BU Reception, in person or by phone @ 01202 965 012 or [online]. All classes will be held in STUDIO 1, SPORT BU, BOURNEMOUTH UNI, TALBOT CAMPUS, FERN BARROW BH12 5BB.
Tai Chi Competition Results - June 2012
Natural Elements took part in the London Traditional Tai Chi Quan Competition hosted by Wu's Tai Chi Chuan Academy 10 June 2012. Four of our students, Linda, Alasdair, Stuart and Vegard took part in the Chen Style Beginner/Intermediate Handform section and also one of our instructors, Paul Lockyer, took part in the Chen Style Open Handform and Open Sword Form.
We had a great day at the competition, which was well organised, judged seriously and had a good atmosphere with lots of great practitioners from different styles of Tai Chi. All our students did really well and we were very proud of the way their Tai Chi progressed and grew from the experience, an added bonus of the day was taking home 6 gold and 4 silver medals.
Young Dragons Kung Fu Competition
In July 2012 we are entering a Kids Competition for Traditional Shaolin Forms and San Shou (chinese kickboxing) at the Testwood Sports College in Totton, which is hosted by The British Shaolin Temple Association. The competition is open to anybody 16 years or under, but spectators of any age are of course welcome!

Tai Chi Competition - June 2012
On June the 10th 2012 we have been invited to take part in a Tai Chi Competition in London. There are different levels from beginners to advanced for different styles of Tai Chi, including Chen Style, 42/24 step and Sun Style, Wu Style, Chen Man-Ching, Yang and Wudang. Paul's teacher, Grandmaster Gou, will be judging the Chen Style Tai Chi.
